Amanda “AB” Bodendieck, age 38, entered into rest on Saturday, June 6, 2020. She was born on August 5, 1981. Amanda loved sports especially softball. She loved her family especially her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her parents, Brian and Mary Bodendieck Sr. of Cape Girardeau; brothers, Robert Bodendieck of Pana, IL, Justin (Tila) Bodendieck of Cape Girardeau, Brian (Megan) Bodendieck Jr. of Perryville; adopted son, Jeremy McGlasson of Benton, IL; daughter, April (John) Massey and granddaughter, Jaylyn Rain Massey all of Johnston City, IL; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. Franklin and Lorraine Barton Sr., Barbara Welch, Robert and Ruth Bodendieck; uncles, Frank Barton Jr., David Barton Sr., and Charles Doty Jr.; niece, Aimee Lorraine Bodendieck; nephew, Parker Lee Bodendieck. The family will host a celebration of life on June 27, 2020 at 2:00pm with Pastor Darren Henderson conducting services at 207 North Pindwood, Cape Girardeau, MO.
