Gloria Jean Miller Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gloria Jean Miller, age 80, of Tamms, passed away at 5:21am Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. Gloria was born on June 9, 1942 to Ralph and Nellie (Wehrenberg) Wilson. In her early years, she worked as a beautician then began her career as a shipping clerk for Servicemaster in Cairo. In Gloria’s free time, she enjoyed spending time with family, flower gardening, landscaping, going out to eat and traveling. She was a member the First Baptist Church in Tamms and Farm Bureau. She was an avid Cardinals fan and enjoyed attending many games. Gloria was always very active in supporting her son’s military careers as well as their teammates. Survivors include her sons – Johnny (Anne) Miller and Michael (Beverly) Miller, Sr. both of Tamms; a grandchild – Michael Miller, Jr. of Tamms; a sister-in-law- Barbara Wilson of Turlock, CA; and a nephew – Kenneth Wilson of Turlock, CA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother – Myron Wilson. A funeral service honoring the life of Gloria Jean Miller will be held at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms on Saturday, June 25 at 10 AM with Rev. Bob Kirby officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00-8:00PM and on Saturday from 9:00-10:00 at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. Interment will follow at Spencer Heights Cemetery.
