Jessica Lynn Holcomb-Adams, age 41, of Lexington, KY, passed away Saturday, April 16, in Lexington. She was born October 8, 1980 in Carbondale to Melanie Archer and Timothy Holcomb. She graduated from Benton High School in 1998 and worked as a health care administrative assistant in Lexington. She loved her chihuahua’s, Sophie and Cricket with all her heart. Jessica is survived by her mother, Melanie Archer of Piedmont, MO; her father and step-mother, Timothy and Mary Holcomb of Murphysboro; her grandmother, Joan Holcomb of Carbondale; step-father, Mark Mormino of Benton; brothers, Michael and Jorge Holcomb Vasquez of Silverthrone, CO; Scott and Samantha Holcomb of Carbondale (children, Caroline, Emelia and Calvin); Michael and Jessyca Mormino of Benton; and Daniel and Veronica Mormino of 29 Palms, CA (children, Luke and Vera); a sister, Heather and Alex Crain of Carbondale, (child, Emory); numerous aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and many friends. A Memorial Service for Jessica Holcomb Adams will be Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home. Directly following the service, there will be a time of food and fellowship in the banquet room at the funeral home until 3:00 pm. A private inurnment will be at a later date in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
