Johnny "J.D." Neeley

Johnny “J.D.” Neeley, age 37, of Carterville, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 5:37 p.m. at Herrin Hospital. J.D. was born to Darrell Neeley and Tina Houston on March 21, 1984 in Jacksonville, Florida. J.D. was employed by Anderson Warehouse Furniture, where his coworkers became family. In the past, he had also worked for Auffenburg. J.D. had a passion for Comic-Con and Transformers. He was also part of the Southern Illinois Pro-Wrestling Coalition. He loved to go to church and was of the Pentecostal faith. J.D. is survived by his siblings, Angie Neeley, Chasity Neeley, Tiffany Neeley, Justin Walker, and Tina Walker; brother of 19 years, Wayne Jordan and family; grandmother, Faye Neeley; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Darla Faye Neeley; his grandparents; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service will be held at # 8 Cemetery on Lighthouse Road in Pittsburg, Illinois on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 1 p.m. with Barry Barker officiating. Burial will follow in # 8 Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Crain Funeral Home at P.O. Box 595 Energy, Illinois 62933.
