Lou Etta (Ryan) Marks, age 71, of Ullin, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 2:55 p.m. in Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Lou was born on November 29, 1949 in Anna, a daughter of William A. and Marjorie (Kerley) Ryan. She retired after many years of working as a housekeeper and loved her kids and grandkids. Survivors include her son, Pete (Lynetta) Johnson of Ullin; her daughter, Angie (Matt) Jones of Dongola; four grandchildren, Alyson (Mike) Lasley of Wetaug, Olivia Jones of Karnak, Amanda (Tyler) Ledbetter of Ullin and Billy (Amber) Bone of Ullin; seven great-grandchildren, Emma and Ben Lasley, Silas Jones, Brycelynn and Bronstyn Ledbetter, Logan Bone and Amera Keistler; her sister, Phyllis (Floyd) Dover of Charleston, Missouri; her brother, William C. (Betty) Ryan of Ullin; nieces and nephews, Cindy Dover Graham, Sheila Francis, Rodney Dover, Mary Kessel, Vicki Bremer and Ricky Ryan; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Lou Etta (Ryan) Marks will be held at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Clint Nale officiating. Interment will follow in Cache Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Cache Chapel Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home. Crain Funeral Home in Ullin has been entrusted with the arrangements.
