Mike Hendrix Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mike Hendrix, age 53, of Nashville, TN, formerly of Terre Haute, IN, passed away on November 21, 2009 at his residence. He was born on October 24, 1956 in Terre Haute, IN to Carl and Jane (Williams) Hendrix. He married Malinda Winning on June 6, 1982. Mike worked as a salesman for shoe stores and automotive dealerships. He enjoyed collecting basketball cards, listening to music, learning about technology, and talking to people. He was a man of many interests and very sociable. Mike made new friends wherever he went and prioritized sustaining a relationship with his family. He was also a member of the PTA. Survivors include his son, Michael Curtis Hendrix of Antioch, TN; two brothers, Carl and Jesse Hendrix of Eustis, FL; and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Curtis and Greg Hendrix. His wife Malinda passed away on April 10, 2022 in Nashville, TN at her residence. A private graveside inurnment of Mike and Malinda Hendrix will take place in St. John’s Cemetery in Dongola, IL on Monday, June 20, 2022 with Rev. Chere Riedel officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crain Funeral Home in Dongola.
