IN MEMORY OF: Nicholas Robin Dillon Serving Location: CRAIN FUNERAL HOME – ANNA 135 West Vienna Street, Anna, Illinois Nicholas Robin Dillon, age 47, of Anna, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Nicholas was born on June 24, 1977 to Robin A. and Betsy (Womick) Dillon in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was a 1995 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School and worked as a manager for United Rx Pharmaceuticals. He coached Jr. Wildcat Football and recently made Assistant Coach of varsity football at A-J. Nicholas was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and a fan of the Chicago Bears. He was of Christian faith. Nick was a big hearted soul that never knew a stranger and would help anyone in need. He loved his daughter, Hanah with all his heart. He loved his friends and had many. He loved his family. His personality was larger than life and will be so very missed. Survivors include his daughter, Hanah Dillon; mother, Betsy (Evan) Stewart; father, Robin (Debbie) Dillon; sisters, Amanda Dillon (Michael Bigler), Stephanie Bowen (Kayla Quertermous), Kristen (Jeremy) Stegle, Julie Pierce; brother, Tim (Sarah) Stewart; girlfriend, Sarah Sanders; nieces, Lilly Tripp, Katie Stegle, Lauryn Stegle, Ashtyn Pierce; nephews, Logan Pierce, Jack Stewart, Liam Stewart, Jack Bigler; grandmother, Hazel Stewart; step-children, Raegan Sanders, Emma Sanders, Lexi Sanders; special cousins, Matt Dillon, Adam Dillon, Nate Kirt, Alex Kirt, Dee Dee Blakely, Rick Kirt, Jeremiah Womick, Jessie Wells, Carol (Mike) Wagner, Adam Whiting; and numerous family and other friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul & Edith (Lacy) Dillon, Ted & Winnie Womick, Fred & Nora Chamness; uncles, Everett Dillon, Jack (Joyce) Dillon, Roger Dillon, aunt Dorothy Kirt and uncle Don Kirt; uncle, David Ury, and cousin, Randy Kirt. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 2:00PM with Bill Littrell officiating at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to the A-J Huddle Club. Memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, A-J Huddle Club will be hosting a meal in the cafeteria of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. Crain Funeral Home, Anna, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
